Imperial Stout with chocolate 12.5% vol
A mudcake inspired banging Imperial Stout brewed with chocolate and cacao.
Taste: An assertive dark chocolate character rolls over the tongue, followed by a layer of creamy malt sweetness. Dark sugar and candied orange zest join from the periphery, before an overwhelming sweet chocolate character returns. Bitter chocolate coats the pale, being washed down by a smooth, gentle carbonation, with more chocolate coating the mouth.
Appearance: Pours a thick, jet black with a brief dark brown head.
Nose: Rich baked chocolate cake and chocolate praline, with hints of sweet caramel sauce.
Malts: Pilsner zero, Munich malt, Carafa special T-2, Cara pale, Oat malt, Special B, Cara 150, Dark sugar, Ecuadorian ASSS cacao
Hops: Magnum, Yellow sub
