Taste: The initial taste is pleasantly reminiscent of rye bread. Lightly sweet malty roastiness is balanced by tangy-bitter citrusy hops. The creamy texture makes the beer highly enjoyable and easy to drink.

Baltic Porter Day 2025

Imperial Baltic Porter 11% vol

A rich imperial Baltic porter brewed with bison grass to celebrate Baltic Porter Day 2025.

Appearance: A dark brown beer with a finger-thick, beige, and well-lasting head.

Nose: The beer is strongly aromatic, with notes of vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, as well as herbal and minty hints from bison grass.

Taste: This full-bodied, drier-style beer is inherently sweet-bitter. The initial taste reveals dark chocolate, a pinch of vanilla, tonka bean, and cocoa. In the mid-palate, the same herbal notes found in the aroma emerge. The aftertaste is long and dry, bringing forward dried dark berries, with a lingering warmth of alcohol and a slightly spicy glow.

Wet Hop Lager 5% vol

A crisp and pale lager brewed with hundreds of kilograms of harvest fresh whole cone Most hops from Czech Republic.

Appearance: A clear golden-yellow beer with a large, thick, and long-lasting white head, staying on the beer for quite a while. Swirling the beer in the glass creates a dense lacing pattern on the glass walls.

Nose: The initial impression is freshly hoppy, as if you’ve put your nose straight into a hop bag. Fresh grassy, hay-like, slightly herbal, and citrusy aromas combine into a pleasant bouquet. If you look carefully, you might find hints of strawberry and mint in the background.

Taste: The initial taste is crisp and refreshing. The slightly bitter citrusy hop flavor is balanced by malty sweetness. The aftertaste is long and lingering, with a slightly mineral finish.

Red Ale 6% vol

A balanced and malty red ale with a rich copper colour.

Taste: The initial taste is bittersweet caramelly, slightly nutty. Mid- and aftertaste introduce subtle fruity notes. The aftertaste is long and lingering, with hints of dried lingonberries or cranberries.

Maple Bänger

Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

A bänging imperial stout brewed with a generous addition of maple syrup and infused with toasted maple wood.

Taste: The first taste is bittersweet roasted maple syrup, mixed with malty roasted sweetness. In the mid-palate, the syrupy sweetness becomes more prominent, with a hint of tannins, and the aftertaste has a touch of saltiness.

Gose 5.5% vol

A lush sour ale brewed with ripe plums, coriander seeds and pink Himalayan rock salt.

Taste: The initial impression is quite acidic and very juicy. The sweet-sour plum compote flavor has a mild tannic hint from the plum stone. While the initial taste is zesty and refreshing, the aftertaste is long-lasting and more like a full-bodied plum compote. There’s a delicate mineral saltiness in the background.

A powerful DIPA brewed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Virmalised.

Taste: The first sip starts out with a fleeting hint of sweet pineapple flesh and ripe nectarines, but the hops here are undeniable, with their resinous character swiftly coating the tongue like pine sap. What follows is a lingering wave of bitter citrus and lemongrass that might just leave you seeing green.

Fruited Sour Ale 5% vol

A jammy triple fruited sour ale brewed with blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.

Taste: An initial jammy sweetness saturates the senses, as though biting into a juicy berry picked during peak season. Gentle acidity rounds out the taste, adding brightness to the beer, which further accentuates the jammy fruit character and brings forth the biscuity malt body.

An intergalactic hazy DIPA.

Taste: Starts out with a soft and pillowy malt character, which provides a solid foundation for hops, which are bursting with flavour descriptors of fully ripe light stone fruits and tropical fruits.

French Toast Bänger

Imperial Stout 12% vol

A bänging imperial stout brewed with maple syrup, Tahitian vanilla pods and Ceylon cinnamon.

Taste: Full-flavoured, rich and malty, with a heavy presence of chocolate and sticky maple syrup. The decadent and complex flavour of the Tahitian vanilla pods becomes more evident sip after sip as the beer warms, until ultimately revealing a subtle and lasting warming sensation from the cinnamon addition.

Witbier 4.5% vol

A wheat beer brewed with orange zest, elderflowers and coriander seeds.

Taste: The zesty orange fades into a soft malt character with notes of biscuits and wheat, followed by lightly spicy coriander, pear and blossoming elderflower. The slightly tangy finish is accompanied by a mellow bitterness and a fruity hop character.

DDH IPA 6% vol

A juicy IPA with spelt flakes, hopped with El Dorado, Mosaic and Citra. Brewed in collaboration with our good friends from Cloudwater and BarthHaas X.

Taste: A variety of tropical and citrus flavours evocative of apricots, papaya and candied orange meld together on a soft, pillowy body courtesy of spelt flakes. Finishes with a moderate bitterness, which rounds out the palate and plays well with the intensely tropical hop profile.

An Australian East Coast style pale ale brewed with tropical New World hops.

Coffee Porter 7.8% vol

A special version of our Must Kuld porter brewed with coffee from Tallinn’s Paper Mill Roastery.

Taste: Smooth espresso like sweetness rushes through and over the taste buds, with redcurrants and jammy blackcurrant notes following. A soft pillowy malt bill is complimented by creamy oat sweetness before another rush of cold brewed coffee spices up the tongue, washed down by gentle carbonation.

Imperial Stout with chocolate 12.5% vol

A mudcake inspired banging Imperial Stout brewed with chocolate and cacao.

Taste: An assertive dark chocolate character rolls over the tongue, followed by a layer of creamy malt sweetness. Dark sugar and candied orange zest join from the periphery, before an overwhelming sweet chocolate character returns. Bitter chocolate coats the pale, being washed down by a smooth, gentle carbonation, with more chocolate coating the mouth.

West Coast DIPA 8% vol

A West Coast DIPA hopped with Chinook, Simcoe, and Mosaic.

Taste: Big bold pithy citrus fruits combine with dank bitterness and a gentle malt sweetness, before taking your tastebuds down a path of hop fields and back to the heady days of West Coast bitterness. A fruit-forward Imperial Gose brewed with sour cherries.

An Imperial Gose brewed with sea buckthorn and carrot, in collaboration with Mikkeller.

Taste: Thick, juicy sea buckthorn stomps over the tongue, leaving a touch of bitterness lingering before a hint of honey-like sweetness from the carrot joins in. The thick body delivers an almost oven baked carrot earthy quality, with an oily juiciness following it that is washed away with vibrant carbonation, leaving zesty fruity sourness behind.

Baba Tonka

Imperial Stout 12% vol

Thick and oily salted caramel Imperial Stout brewed with tonka beans, in collaboration with Sofia Electric Brewing.

Taste: Taking the first sip is like biting into a chocolate lava cake. Rich and sugary, it then leaves you with toffee, star anise and some cocoa bitterness. A dash of salt and gentle carbonation round things up, making the beer easy-drinking despite the hefty alcohol content. A triple fruited Florida Weisse brewed with mango, passionfruit, and peach.

Easy-drinking hazy IPA brewed with pineapple and Pink Boots Blend hops. A collective effort by women of Põhjala, created to add equality, inclusivity and fun into the craft beer world.

Taste: Fruity and effervescent, this beer is like a sunlit hop playground. A refreshing light body is compensated with the pleasantly bitter flavour punch that delivers balanced, full, subtly mineral taste. The lingering aftertaste is almost sweet, leaving the palate clean and longing for another sip.

An Imperial Gose brewed with quince & Thai basil.

Taste: Like takes you on a walk through an orchard in bloom - with tastes leisurely meandering from a sharp almost yuzu-like quince acidity, floral apple blossoms, to sweet oven-baked pears. Balancing this out on the aftertaste is a gentle lingering herbal aftertaste from the Thai basil, giving hints of menthol and eucalyptus before giving way to the juicy sour finish.

Taste: Bringing up summer holiday memories of tropical juices delivered right to your poolside sunlounger, Moonraker 4 delivers an explosion of mixed mango and citrus character with the malt bill giving just a hint of creamy vanilla biscuit. Flavours of fresh pineapple and guava juice served from a coconut mixes with apricot to gives a juicy mouthfeel that offers just enough hoppy bitterness to balance out and keep you coming back for more.

Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

Imperial Stout brewed with mountains of chocolate, cacao nibs, tonka beans, and vanilla for a big birthday celebration.

Taste: Sweet and sticky vanilla-marzipan frosting coats the tongue with a smooth and creamy feel of a chocolate milkshake immediately afterwards. A special version of our Pime Öö Imperial Stout, brewed with hazelnut.

Taste: Fistfuls of honeycomb toffee and hazelnut pralines combine with syrupy sweet molasses, layering over a biscuity malt body. Toasted hazelnuts provide a gentle bitterness on the aftertaste reminiscent of dark chocolate with a juicy taste reminiscent of cherries lingering on the palate. Jumping right in for a second sip more pralines and hints of espresso kick in, with warming hints of mixed spice to finish.

Taste: Heady tropical fruit juice charges headlong down the tastebuds, bringing with it a barrel of fresh grapefruit and mandarin, coating the tongue in sweet, dank, fruity, hoppy oils. A gentle pillowy malt body joins the party, with hints of over-ripe nectarine and gooseberry trifle, before letting the sweet pineapples and mango of the aroma bounce across the tongue. Gluten-free Imperial Stout 10.5% vol

A rich Imperial Stout, brewed to be gluten reduced for those who still like to live on the edge.

Taste: Sweet cedar wood and toasted bread jumps out first, with a decadent dose of rich dark chocolate coated in treacle. Floral manuka honey is then joined by elegant pecan and a touch of bitterness to balance before rounding out with an assertive malty backbone.

Imperial Stout with Coffee and Coconut 12.5% vol

A banging Imperial stout brewed with coconut and a Caturra coffee from Costa Rica.

Taste: Creamy, dessert-like coconut followed by a rush of Turkish coffee - earthy, tarry, balanced by the taste of plums and blackberry. As the beer warms, chocolate notes start to shine, with hints of caramelised sugar layering on top of the roasted coffee. A banging Imperial Stout brewed with prunes, vanilla, and habanero chillies.

Taste: Dark chocolate and dried prunes come out first, followed by a strong Turkish coffee and stewed blackcurrant jam. Vanilla supports, followed by a long, lingering — BÄNG — from the chilli. Just enough to shock your tastebuds and leave you wanting more.

Barley wine 12% vol

A massive malty and full bodied barley wine, brewed for the anniversary of Põhjala’s brewhouse.

Taste: Rich and assertive maltiness hits the tongue first, before a fragrant touch of nutmeg and ginger sneaks in. Lingering in the background notes before building up to a crescendo is a rich madeira wine, sherry like character, complimented by a decadent caramelised fig aftertaste.

Cherry Island

A smooth porter brewed with milk sugar, and aged on Belyzian chocolate and Orange Habanero chillis.

Taste: A smooth dark chocolate and rich toasted malt profile jump across the tongue, before being joined by a sweet fruity chilli heat with lingering smoky nuances. Apricot and tobacco join in, with just a dash of rich honey like sweetness before ending on a pleasant, tingling heat.

Moonraker: Citra & BRU-1

DDH IPA 6.7% vol

A juicy IPA brewed with malted oats, and hopped with Citra and BRU-1.

Taste: Juicy pineapple and melon dominates, with a hint of fresh acidity - melon, lemon, and freshly squeezed lime join in, with a smooth underlying biscuity malt base and just a hint of bitterness to balance it out.

Must Kuld Vanilla Latte

Vanilla and Coffee Porter 7.8% vol

A smooth porter brewed with oats, milk sugar, Tahitian vanilla beans, and freshly roasted coffee.

Taste: Creamy milk chocolate and red currants dance along the tongue with a rich oat forward sweetness not far behind. Hints of marzipan and expressive roasted coffee come through more and more with each sip, with a gentle lashing of vanilla cream lingering on the tongue.

Imperial Baltic Porter 12.5% vol

Collaboration with Pinta from Poland. An old world Stock Imperial Baltic Porter featuring a blend of fresh bottom-fermented Baltic Porter and barrel aged top-fermented Baltic Porter

Taste: Sweet malts and red fruits slide down your tongue like velvet, with an oaky vinous character and strong biscuit flavour following. Hints of clean herbal hoppy bitterness and umami join in, with a light peppery spiciness lingering on the tongue.

Moonraker: Galaxy & Motueka

DDH IPA 6.7% vol

A juicy IPA brewed with malted oats, and hopped with Galaxy and Motueka.

Taste: First comes fruity orange and mango juice poured over coconut chips with thick cut slices of rustic white farmhouse bread served on the side. After you go back for more, a dash of pithy bitterness rounds out the taste with sweet creamy oats sliding down the tongue. A touch of grapefruit, a touch more pineapple, and you could believe you can feel sand between your toes on a beach.

Winter Bänger

Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

A banging Imperial Stout inspired by British Christmas cake. Brewed with Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, and aged on brandy-soaked raisins.

Taste: An overload of rich treacle and nutmeg, spicy brandy and marzipan, before rich plum jam and dark baked raisins come through lingering as the glass warms. Sweet malt and mixed spice jumps out followed by golden toasted oats and just a hint of dark fruits.

Leevike

Spiced Winter Sour 5.5% vol

A spiced sour brewed with cranberries, hibiscus, honey, toasted cinnamon, and cloves.

Taste: Like exploring a market in the dead of winter, your taste buds dart down avenue after avenue - toasted cinnamon alley first, sweet rich cranberry sauce next, all guided by balanced acidity. Floral notes from hibiscus leave a lingering touch before juicy cinnamon and cloves come back again.

Bootleg Theatre

IPA 6.2% vol

Collaboration with Lervig. A juicy IPA brewed with malted and flaked rye, and hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, HBC 431, and Cashmere.

Taste: A riot of soft and smooth tropical fruits, papaya and passionfruit leading the charge followed by cascading notes of tinned stone fruits and toasted rye crackers, rounded out by just a touch of bitterness.

Imperial Baltic Porter 12% vol

Collaboration with Other Half. An Imperial Baltic Porter brewed with rye malt, Tahitian vanilla beans, and Brazilian coffee.

Taste: Freshly brewed coffee with sweet biscuit and toasted bread mixes with a rich vanilla frosted espresso cake character. Cherries and a light touch of almonds come through as well as fruity dark rum notes. Sweet sticky toffee and coconut joins in, with just enough bitterness to balance it all out, and leaves the elegant taste of a freshly toasted cardamon bun on the tongue.

West Coast DIPA 8.5% vol

Collaboration with Boneyard and Bagby.
A west coast double IPA brewed old skool style - dry and bitter and loaded with Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade hops.

Taste: A resiny aggressive hop profile meets sweet biscuity malt profile. Sweet floral notes and pink grapefruit shine through with a palate-smashing charge of bitter citrus and herbal flavours.

Collusion Course

Sour NE IPA 6.9% vol

Collaboration with Coppertail Brewing Co. and AF Brew.
A double dry-hopped sour New England IPA, brewed with lactose and guava.

Taste: Sweet tropical guava comes front and centre, with a touch of lemon lime margarita following. A gentle sourness is balanced out by the creamy lactose and oat sweetness, and more tropical hoppy characters following. Overall the feeling is of taking a tropical fruit basket of guava, golden kiwi, mango, and citrus, blending them together, and serving in a refreshingly chilled glass. Relax in your hammock and watch the world with this beer by your side.

Tuk Tuk Drama

Milkshake IPA 5.3% vol

Collaboration with Collective Arts. A milkshake IPA brewed with alphonso mango, blood orange, and lactose.

Taste: Speeding through your tastebuds like a red traffic light comes a hit of pomelo, tingly lemongrass, and the zestiness of white grapefruit, before turning into a rich full mango lassi character. Plenty of punchy american hops make themselves known, with freshly brewed jasmine tea and rich malt character leading the final charge.

Houdini

NE IPA 6.2% vol

Collaboration with Fuerst Wiacek. A modernist reinterpretation of an IPA, hopped with El Dorado, Citra, and Mosaic.

Taste: A freshly opened can of overripe peaches leaps out the glass before being joined by fresh tropical passionfruit, grilled pineapple and lime zest. Sweet malts carry the body, with a refreshing sparkling citrus character coming through on the aftertaste.

Cherry Bänger

Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

Imperial stout with cherries, chocolate, and vanilla pods.

Taste: Sweet cherry chocolate comes through first with a burst of sour cherry acidity following up. Ginger and orange biscuits then jump out with more dark cherry and vanilla leading the aftertaste. Already before you take the next sip lingering dark chocolate notes come through with just a hint of smoke and rye spiciness.

Karneval

Imperial Stout 10.9% vol

An Imperial dessert stout with fresh flavours from raspberries, passionfruit, and toasted coconut.

Taste: A sweet raspberry beginning builds on a chewy, burnt toffee malt backbone and hints of chocolate and roasted malts. Gentle fruity acidity then follows after from passionfruit, before leaving a smooth and creamy long lasting finish, mixed with coconut and bourbon vanilla.

Szechuan Bänger

Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

Imperial stout brewed with szechuan peppercorn, star anise, fresh ginger, and pu’erh tea.

Taste: Lashings of dark chocolate, smooth spicy ginger, followed by hints of kola nut and aniseed. Dried, umami-rich mushrooms with a tingling sensation kick up the rest of the taste before sizzling away on the tongue.

Lux

Dry-hopped Saison 6.8% vol

A contemporarily hopped extra pale beer co-fermented by Belgian saison and New England ale yeast.

Taste: Zesty citrus and stone fruit melts into a classic, dry rustic saison base with a fresh tingle of carbonation on the back to cleanse the palate. On the second sip hops come right to the front, with classic tastes of dry hop bio-transformation. Some biscuit malt joins later showcasing the saison strain, before being dominated by freshly cut pineapple. Whether co-fermentation or co-habitation, sometimes 1+1=3.

Graff Gadient

Rye and Apple Gose 5.8% vol

Collab with To Øl and BRUS. A sour rye gose brewed with spontaneously-fermented cider as mash liquor, Estonian apple juice, and three varieties of thyme.

Taste: Sweet yet tart apple character followed by layers of thyme and soft citrus. Rich toasted sourdough and a smooth honey-biscuit base, before a gentle sizzling of fresh herbal notes on the aftertaste.

Italobänger

Imperial Stout with figs, star anise, blood oranges and grape must 12.5% vol

A banging Imperial Stout inspired by the flavours of Italy and brewed with figs, star anise, Sicilian blood oranges, and cooked grape must.

Taste: Strong vinous notes with a prickly, rounded anise character quickly following. Parma violets and rich sweet caramelised fig notes mingle with the decadent malt character and delicate sweet citrus. As the beer warms the taste morphs even more, bouncing between sweet and spice, leaving behind a well rounded fruity body.

Must Kuld El Salvador

Coffee Porter 7.8% vol

A special version of the Must Kuld porter, brewed with a washed bourbon coffee from La Many, El Salvador.

Taste: Lashings of creamy milk chocolate coated in honeycomb and golden syrup, with a generous helping of red berries on the side providing some light acidity. Sweet caramel malt notes come through before a gentle touch of roastiness.

Here Comes the Night Time

Black Sour 5.9% vol

Collab with Stillwater Artisanal. A dark rye sour, brewed with Aronia berries and smoked malts.

Taste: Sweet yet bitter aronia berries come through first, followed by an intense sourness. The sourness then gives way to a long lasting smokiness — reminiscent of a birchwood fireplace — with a sizzle of carbonation to finish, before the sticky dryness of aronia berries comes back, staying on the tongue.

North of Bend

India Pale Ale 7.2% vol

A collaboration with Boneyard - an intergalactic tropical IPA - dry hopped to hell and back with America and Australia’s finest.

Taste: Smooth, sweet, juicy hops come through at first followed by the taste of smooth pineapple and orange juice — balanced out by a crisp hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Kirg

Fruit IPA 6% vol

A luscious golden summer IPA brewed with passionfruit and blood orange.

Taste: Juicy overpowering tropical fruits and citrus leads the taste — besides the passionfruit and blood orange there are hints of other, fresh papaya, overripe mango, and even fresh cut pineapple. A simple biscuity and slightly grainy malt base, smooth tropical hops, a basket of exotic fruits, all supported by an elegant bitterness - this will make you long for summer long before, and long after.

A special version of the Must Kuld porter, brewed with a Caturra coffee from Finca La Chorrera in Colombia.

Taste: Rich and full cold brewed coffee comes through, with a huge milk chocolate and red fruit kick. Raspberry milkshake, vanilla, honey, and strong blackcurrant coffee notes.
